Introduction
Harokopio
University
was founded in 1993 and since then has put special
emphasis on improving the quality of
its educational
and research work as well as on the smooth operation
of the institution. Within this
framework, MODIP (Quality Assurance Unit) of Harokopio University, which has been in operation
since 1998, provides assessment tools which improve
the educational and research status of the
institution.
In
October 2010, the integration of the Act “MODIP -
Quality Assurance Unit” of Harokopio University in the “Education and Lifelong
Learning 2007-2013” Programme intensified MODIP’s
efforts to develop a framework that would insure
quality-based assessment.
Harokopio
University has realized
all the necessary assessment procedures using new
technologies which aim at a nationally and
universally acclaimed status of the institution.
